What would happen if we could collect energy from every step that we take. Pavegen is a very cool project that might make this happen. Every time someone walks over a Pavegen tile, renewable energy is harvested from the footstep. The energy can be stored in batteries, or used to power applications.
They have already some very cool case-studies where they have applied the technology.
